Terms of Website Use
Who we are
ShredShots is the public-facing photo service operated for mountain bike galleries, downloads, and related customer support. If you need help, use the contact page.
Where payments are processed through a third-party payment provider, that provider may also apply its own separate terms.
Using the website
- You may browse galleries and previews for personal, non-abusive use.
- Do not scrape, bulk download, harvest, reverse engineer, or interfere with the site.
- Do not copy or reuse watermarked previews without permission.
- Availability is not guaranteed and pages may change or be withdrawn at any time.
Accounts, baskets, and checkout
- Any account details you provide should be accurate and kept up to date.
- The basket and checkout flow may use cookies or similar storage so the site can keep track of your selected photos.
- Please check your basket and order carefully before you pay.
- If a payment provider is used, the contract for payment processing may also be governed by that provider's terms.
Governing law
These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of England and Wales, while preserving any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

Image Purchase Terms
What you buy
When you buy a photo, you are buying a digital image licence, not the copyright in the image itself. Unless we say otherwise in writing, copyright remains with the photographer or other stated copyright owner.
The download becomes available after payment or after the order is otherwise confirmed in the flow shown to you at checkout.
Digital download refunds and cancellations
Digital content is different from physical products. If you ask for immediate access to a download, the site may require you to confirm that you understand the usual cancellation rights can end once the download begins.
If a file is corrupt, wrong, or materially different from the image you ordered, contact us and we will fix the problem or provide the remedy required by law.

Licence Summary and Restrictions
Personal-use licence
Unless a different licence is shown at checkout or agreed in writing, you may use the purchased image for personal purposes, including personal printing, keeping a backup copy, and posting to your own social profiles.
You may crop or resize the image for that personal use, but you may not remove watermarks from previews or claim authorship.
Prohibited uses unless separately agreed
- Resale or redistribution of the downloadable file.
- Commercial advertising, sponsorship, brand publication, or merchandise use.
- Use in datasets, AI training, or similar machine-learning systems.
- Use in a way that is defamatory, unlawful, or misleading about who created the image.

On-site Photography Liability Notice
Photography and on-site liability notice
Mountain biking is inherently risky. Riders remain responsible for riding within their ability and following trail and venue rules.
The presence of a photographer does not make a section of trail safe. Do not alter your line, speed, attention, or behaviour for the camera. Our photographers aim to position themselves safely and may move or stop shooting if conditions become unsafe.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any non-excludable consumer right.
