Cookie Policy and Consent
This page explains the necessary and optional cookies and similar storage used by the site, plus how to change your choice later.
Last updated 1.0 (15 June 2026)
Our approach
We do not use cookies or similar storage for third-party advertising or ad tracking. Necessary cookies and similar storage stay on because the site needs them to run the basket, checkout, sign-in, and consent controls. Optional analytics and performance monitoring stay off until you choose to enable them.
You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Cookie and storage audit
| Name / storage | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| mtb_cart_session | Necessary | Keeps a guest basket linked to your browser. | Up to 1 year |
| Authentication session cookies | Necessary | Keeps you signed in and lets the server read your session. | Provider-managed |
| mtb_cookie_consent | Necessary preference | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics. | Up to 1 year |
| theme localStorage | Necessary preference | Remembers your light or dark theme choice. | Until cleared |
| Remembered sign-in email localStorage | Convenience preference | Lets the sign-in form pre-fill the email address you used last time. | Until cleared |
| Card size localStorage | Convenience preference | Remembers gallery card density on pages that expose the control. | Until cleared |
| Optional analytics / performance storage | Optional | Measures page usage and performance after you opt in. | Provider-managed |
Consent choices
The banner gives you a clear accept, reject, and manage choice. We do not treat continuing to browse as consent. If you open the settings panel, you can review the optional analytics choice before saving it.
Choosing reject only disables optional analytics and performance monitoring. It does not block the site from working.
Optional analytics
When you opt in, we may use analytics and performance monitoring tools to understand usage and spot issues. These tools are only enabled after you opt in.
Third-party services
Some features use selected third-party services for payment processing, authentication, and site operations. Those services may set their own cookies or similar technologies as part of the service they provide.
